In early April 2018 I traveled to Indonesia to participate in OceansSOS 2018 held in Manado, Sulawesi.  The event was organized by Nate Walworth, friend and son of my old friends Steve and Kol.  The goal of the 4 days meeting was to discuss new technologies that could be useful for ocean conservation and, as well, highlight different applications in place in Indonesia.

On the way out and back from Sulawesi, I sent a day in Jakarta - exploring a bit of that huge congested city and also meeting friends Jason and Lindsay who both studies at the University of Miami.  Jason was a Marine Affairs and Policy student at RSMAS who also spent a summer with me in Bocas del Toro.
